The 7th Business Forum Greece–Sweden “Climate Action: Challenges and Solutions” took place on May 19, 2022 at the Benaki Museum in Athens. The Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden pulled together 4 panels of specialists to share insights and experiences on tackling the impact of climate change with solutions from the business sector so that Greece leaps forward.
Welcome remarks from Rania Patsiopoulos, President of HSCC, and official address by H.E. Mr. Johan Borgstam, Ambassador of Sweden to Greece, who highlighted that Sweden already has an energy mix of 60% renewables, with a fossil neutral target by 2045. Keynote speaker Mr. Christos Stylianides, Minister of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection, stressed that “Scientific data leaves no space for doubts and it is fundamental to work collectively in addressing the climate crisis.”
