The Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 8th Business Forum Greece-Sweden, entitled “A New Business Environment is Emerging”, which will take place on October 19th, 2023, at the Museum Benaki / Pireos 138 at 13.00 hrs. in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden in Greece.
The forum aims to shed light on the experiences and innovative practices emerging from Sweden and Greece, showcasing how companies are adapting to the dynamic landscape of today’s global business environment and the emerging trends that are reshaping industries worldwide.
With a focus on innovation and adaptation, the 8th Business Forum Greece-Sweden will bring together representatives from business, scientific and government sectors to share their valuable knowledge on three thematic pillars.
The first session, “Geopolitics and Business – Changing Geopolitical Scene and New Patterns in Supply Chain,” will explore the evolving geopolitical environment and its impact on global supply chains. Experts will discuss on strategies for building resilient supply chains, overcoming high costs and ensuring uninterrupted operations amidst uncertainty and imminent risks.
The second session, “Charging the Future”, will emphasize on sustainability knowledge integration and innovative strategies, including circular economy practices, renewable energy, and waste reduction initiatives. The pressing issue of climate change urges governments and companies to implement green policy actions and foster sustainable practices. How both private and public sectors can apply transformative solutions and regulations towards an affordable and nature-positive business and socio-economic future?
The third and final session entitled “AI in the Workplace of the Future” will focus on the transformative effects of the artificial intelligence, exploring the human-machine interaction and its impact on productivity and efficiency and shedding light on the potential it holds for unlocking new opportunities.
Throughout the forum, which will commence with warm welcome remarks from the President of the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Rania Patsiopoulou and the Ambassador of Sweden to Greece, H.E. Mr. Johan Borgstam, distinguished speakers from various industries will share their expertise and best practices, creating an active platform of engaging discussions, knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
During the 8th Hellenic-Swedish Business Forum the exhibition “Pioneer the possible” will be displayed. This exhibition on Sweden’s climate strategy with examples of innovative companies driving the change has been
developed in cooperation with Fossil Free Sweden, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Business Sweden.
