On Tuesday December 9th, our Annual Christmas Gala Dinner brought the Hellenic–Swedish business community together at the Golf Club — a setting that felt both festive and genuinely welcoming. It was an evening of warm conversations, positive energy, and a strong sense of community.
The event opened with a standing reception, followed by welcome remarks from our Chairman, George Georgakopoulos, and the Ambassador of Sweden, H.E. Mr. Håkan Emsgård. Their messages captured the essence of the year: a community that is active, engaged, and growing stronger.
Mr. George Georgakopoulos highlighted a year of momentum — from the impactful 10th Business Forum Greece-Sweden in November, co-organized with the Embassy of Sweden in Athens, to the expanding cooperation among our members. He also outlined an ambitious vision for 2025: more regular business gatherings, greater visibility for HSCC members, and new initiatives to further strengthen our network.
Guests enjoyed generous giveaways from KARANIKA SOFIA ‘PLAC CONTROL’ /TePe and Helios Pasta Industry, while the excitement peaked during our Christmas Lottery, featuring wonderful prizes offered by Helios Pasta Industry, Muses Estate // Κτήμα Μουσών, Oriflame Cosmetics and IKEA Housemarket S.A.
